Rozzano Profile
The Rozzano site (formerly named ICM – Industria Chimica Milanese SpA), started manufacturing operations in late 1958. Since its beginning the multipurpose plant is worldwide famous for production of Phenothiazine tranquilizers and antihistaminics, 50% of which are exported to the USA. In 1998 the Rozzano site successfully expanded it production to aminoglucoside antibiotics for which a fully dedicated plant was constructed.
The Rozzano site was first inspected by the US FDA in late 1980 and its facilities – fully complying with GMPs – are routinely audited by the Italian Ministry of Health and international clients.
